Web Development
We seek someone who has recent experience in the development and management of WordPress/Woocommerce websites, plugin development and with knowledge about the most recent WordPress releases and web standards. This role offers the entry-level web developer or designer opportunities to build on existing technical proficiency and business acumen as it relates to application system development and design. You will be introduced to technologies used by business units of all sizes that utilize software in their day-to-day operations.
Web Management
You will assist with key site management tasks of our growing list of client ecommerce sites, and our company’s ecommerce sites. You’ll be pitching in on everything from completing client submitted tasks, plugin & core software updates, content management/troubleshooting, to eCommerce logistics and inventory control.
Web Support
You will work remotely with dedicated remote managers and designers, and should be comfortable working directly with clients, and can articulate complex issues to non-technical people.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, thrives on customer service and can commit to taking a project from idea to completion.
Position Overview
This unique opportunity will allow you to learn about and gain critical insights into what it takes to create, manage and grow a successful ecommerce system. This is a remote opportunity that will require little to no travel, however you will be responsible for ensuring you have the proper equipment needed to perform the role. Typically equipment needs include little more than a laptop or desktop computer, reliable high-speed internet connection and a cellphone with WiFi and/or data service. Any software needed for the performance of duties will be provided by Brand Basket Media, LLC.**
- Responsibilities
- Design, modify, develop, test and implement content & code used to create web pages / applications.
- Follow pre-established coding & web structure standards and other guidelines.
- Work with web/graphic designers to develop appealing UI/UX web front-ends.
- Effectively transition mockup designs from PDF/PSD into web pages using tools such as Elementor Page Builder.
- Work directly with business owners, marketers and account managers remotely, to design and develop web applications, pages and systems to facilitate business needs.
- Manage assigned projects from concept to completion while working within strict time and budgetary parameters.
- Add new product / page content in a logical and aesthetic manner.
- Perform related tasks as assigned.
- Be highly self motivated, directed and accountable.
- Attend weekly meetings via phone / video conferencing, and be able to communicate with the manager during business hours.
- Manage / facilitate your own workflow by learning to use planning/organizational tools like ClickUp, Google Drive and Slack.
